The Tempest Act 1
April 28, 2007I didn’t get:
As wicked dew as e’er my mother brushed
With raven’s feather from unwholesome fen
Drop on you both. A southwest blow on you
And blister you all o’er.
Come on, obey.
They nerves are in their infancy again
And have no vigor in them.
I got:
Wherefore did they not
That hour destroy us?
Why didn’t they just kill us that day?
Dost thou forget
from what a torment I did free thee?
Did you forget the torture I freed you from?
What I’m wondering is why Miranda hasn’t asked Prospero about all of this and why she hasn’t found out until now. She has been there since the age of three and I would think that since there’s no one else around, she would know everything.
